Spiderman Unlimited by daremaker Spiderman Unlimited by daremaker
I wanted to try more dynamic poses, and who's better than Spidey for that? Um, I guess Mr. Fantastic...erm.

But this is not any Spiderman mind you, this Spidey is from the cartoon "Spiderman Unlimited". Needless to say, it was awesome. The art style incorporated black tones, and the premise was interesting.

From Wikipedia: "While covering the launch of John Jameson's one man mission to Counter-Earth (another Earth located on the far side of the Sun), Spider-Man attempts to stop his two symbiote adversaries Venom and Carnage from boarding the shuttlecraft. Blamed for Jameson losing contact with our Earth, Spider-Man becomes a target of persecution by the media and the public. Believed to be dead after saving a person's life in a fire, Peter Parker uses the ruse to embark on a mission to retrieve John Jameson on Counter-Earth, using nanotechnology borrowed from Reed Richards to design a new suit that incorporates stealth technology and sonic weaponry. Making his way to the planet, Spider-Man learns that Jameson has fallen in with a band of freedom fighters opposed to the High Evolutionary whose Beastials, hybrids of animal and humanoid attributes, are the dominant species whilst humans are the second-class minority.
With Jameson reluctant to return until all of the Beastials are defeated, Spider-Man elects to remain on Counter-Earth, blending in as best as he can as Peter Parker, and fighting High Evolutionary and his Knights of Wundagore alongside the rebels as Spider-Man. It is soon discovered that Venom and Carnage are also on Counter-Earth, and are following orders from a being known as the Synoptic. This series also shows the animated version of John Jameson's Man-Wolf form, as well as superhero versions of mainstream villains the Green Goblin and the Vulture."

So yes, Spiderman vs. Furries!

Theme here: [link]

SAI/Bamboo So many other things to finish too! (And yes, lazy background, but at least there's one. And awful webbing, but it would have taken longer otherwise).

EDIT: Fixed the foot. Not perfect but will do. Happy now?
EDIT2: Better coloring

This is, quite possibly, my OVERALL FAVORITE Spider-Man suit for several reasons.

1) It's design is like a mix between the Classic suit, the Symbiote suit, and the 2099 suit.
Also, despite how many people hate it, I love the web cape. It adds uniqueness to the suit, plus, it looks shredded. Shredded capes are badass.
Seriously, how many marvel heroes are there that actually wear capes? (heroes, not villians)

2) It's cybernetic! Because of this, it has some pretty sweet features, like a stealth mode that turns Spidey completely invisible, a built in gas filter, and an anti-symbiote sonic sound emitter.
Also, the ENTIRE suit is made of millions and millions of nano-bots that are all kept in a special watch Peter wears. This allows Peter to easily switch into and out of this costume, kinda like the Symbiote suit but without all of the evil mind-altering alien slime.

the series was not well thought out personally , i think it was a toy marketing disaster of epic proportions it didnt even last a season as a recall.
with that said i really didnt like the style at the time compared to the previous Spiderman series that was its immediate predecessor, as it seemed too liquid and simplistic compared to the previous series however i will state that i think this is a vast improvement and well done !. i'd love to see some further progression and development different angles and perfection of style. (*perfection meaning the further development of your art style in a positive manner)

Well, they tried to emulate Batman Beyond too much so they lost a clear direction to where to follow. Oh it did last a whole season, but the cliffhanger was supposed to be concluded on the second season. I think the second season synopsis is out there.
Thanks for the support! I get what you're saying about angles, and will definitively try something even wilder with future Spidey drawings :)

spiderman unlimited was years i want to say 96 or so, before batman beyond as i recall by 3-4yrs i only say that i recall very specifically that the unlimited was started nearly immediately after the early 90's spiderman that had the long drawn element with like the insidious six and the old skool heroes wherein robbie was previed to captain america's story ect
batman TAS was in its maybe 2nd stage at most wherein the suit changed to the grey tone just before the superman series came out right and they started doing more angular styling.
soo i want to say around 97-98 or so and beyond was like 99 to 2000 or so as i recall but i def dont recall them overlapping

Actually according to websites I've gone to, Batman Beyond came out on July 1999, and Spidey Unlimited on October 1999. The original Spdey series went from 1994-1998, so it makes sense that Unlimited came out on 1999 after all the planning and production. It was definitively not released on 96-97 as I was only 4 years old and I would not have remembered it. :)

whoa dude totally aging me here and damn now that i think about it.
i remember very specifically that the original spidey was followed almost immediately by the ultimate, the only reason is that it was unique and rarely done in that era for an immediate untied followed up and since it was so odd i tried to watch it and then was into bats but the show was soo erratic in its episode format and not staying steady with new eps for a such a while it was easy to be confused
